About the Program:

The Hepato-Pancreato-Billiary (HPB) Fellowship is a one-year postgraduate training program accredited by the Fellowship Council. The program was established in 2013 with the intention of enhancing core knowledge, expertise, and mastery of technical skills. Pre-requisite training is necessary for all candidates and is most suitable for those trainees who have completed a surgical residency in good standing. The fellowship is available for trainees with post graduate experience no less than PGY-6. Graduates are prepared to become experts in the surgical management of hepatobilliary and pancreatic diseases through a multi-disciplinary team approach that focuses on comprehensive high-quality patient care, research, and evidence-based practices. The goals of the HPB Surgery Fellowship Program are ailored to those set forth by the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Associate (IHPBA) and the Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (AHPBA).
